The Evolution Aqua K+ Advanced Filter 20″ combines robust UK-made construction with advanced K+ Media to deliver exceptional mechanical and biological filtration for ponds up to 18,000 litres (4,800 US gal). This compact (500 mm diameter) filter is engineered for efficiency, durability, and easy maintenance, making it ideal for koi ponds, garden ponds, and heavily stocked water features.

•  Pre-filled with 50 L K+ Media – offering ~1,025 m² per m³ surface area for rapid bacterial colonization and filtration to 1 micron.

•  Pressure-rated to 1.5 bar (tested to 2.5 bar); robust single-piece rotational moulded body with integrated feet for long-term reliability.

•  Laminar flow, double laterals, and included air blower + pipework – for efficient backwashing and easy operation.

How It Works

Water enters via the multiport valve into bottom laterals, flows upward through the K+ Media where debris is trapped and beneficial bacteria flourish. Clean water exits via top laterals. When it’s time to clean, simply switch the valve and use the air blower to backwash—no messy disassembly required.
