Rowaphos Phosphate Remover (500g) is a high-quality, iron hydroxide-based filtration media formulated to remove phosphates and silicates from both marine and freshwater aquariums. Elevated phosphate levels can cause nuisance algae outbreaks, stress corals, and harm overall water quality. Rowaphos works instantly on contact, binding phosphates securely so they cannot leach back into the water.
Unlike many other phosphate removers, Rowaphos does not release any harmful substances and is completely safe for reef aquariums. Its unique formulation allows it to eliminate even the smallest traces of phosphate without negatively affecting other important water parameters.
Ideal for use in fluidised reactors, canister filters, or placed in a media bag within a high-flow sump area, Rowaphos 500g offers a cost-effective solution for long-term phosphate control. A 500g tub treats up to approximately 1,500 litres of freshwater or 500 litres of saltwater, depending on the starting phosphate levels.
