What It Is

A sedation solution based on 2‑phenoxyethanol, explicitly designed for koi carp. It is not an anaesthetic, but provides deep sedation sufficient for non-invasive tasks such as mucus scraping, parasite inspection, ulcer cleaning, or scale removal

Dosage & Use

1. Pour 10 ml of Sedate per 9 L of pond water in a treatment bowl

2. Aerate the mixture with an air stone.

3. Place the koi into the bowl until it gently rolls onto its side—usually within 2–3 minutes

4. Top up with extra Sedate (30-second intervals) if the koi shows slight movement upon lifting.

5. For euthanasia only, double the standard dose—never mix with salt

6. Do not use below 15 °C to ensure effectiveness

⚠️ Important Safety Notes

• Intended only for koi carp, as a dip treatment

• Always aerate, and monitor the fish’s condition carefully.

• Avoid use in temperatures below 15 °C—product may solidify below ~13 °C

• Do not mix with salt for sedation or euthanasia .

Storage & Shelf Life

Keep the product above 13 °C, and never allow it to freeze to maintain consistency. Shake well before use
